TCI is now hiring a Operations Administrator for our Jamesburg, NJ location.
Position Overview
Under general supervision this position will help plan, schedule, track, organize, inspect, and conduct audits for the account(s) assigned as needed. This position must also work with other operations managers and other TCI personnel. This is a one position classification reporting to the Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for specific tasks assigned by the Regional Operations Manager but not limited to a specific area/region. This position involves professional close working relationships with all TCI team departments/team members on all levels, drivers, dispatchers, dock workers, mechanics, customers and vendors. This position requires flexibility for occasional night, weekend and holiday work when needed.
Essential Operations Administrator Functions:
- Cover Dispatch/Driver Manager as needed.
- Process billing for assigned accounts.
- Assist with tracking driver movements.
- Correspond with customers as requests and questions come in.
- Receiving paperwork from the mailbox and assembling them for scanning to include bills, interchange tickets and any other relevant paperwork to the load.
- Communicate all missing paperwork to the Regional Operations Manager or Driver manager to check with the drivers 1st and then will reach out to shipper to see if we can get a copy in order to ensure accuracy for billing.
- Responsible for all imaging regarding paperwork for customers.
- Responsible for completing payroll for all drivers. Subject to change as needed.
- This position will be responsible for creating orders and ensuring they are billed in McLeod.
- Responsible for pre-dispatching and dispatching the drivers and making sure the rates are correct for billing for the loads the drivers are running.
- Responsible for daily checks in Lytx and emailing any coaching to drivers. Any drivers with continuous issues will need to be addressed with the Regional Operations Manager. This function will be modified to “assist only” once a driver manager is in place.
- Responsible for updating Geo fences as needed in McLeod for accuracy in locations.
- This position will complete the billing for the assigned accounts. The position will also complete offsets. Subject to change as needed.
- Assist with ensuring that Safety is the #1 focus within the operation.
- Assist with making sure that the focus remains on Safety, Cost Control & Customer Service.
- Process the paperwork that’s associated with the operation.
- Review schedules and maps to determine the optimum vehicle routes.
- Regular worksite attendance is an essential function of the job and is necessary for a variety of reasons including but not limited to teamwork, face-to-face interaction with clients, and working with items or equipment that are at the place of business.

$26/hr
