Are you a strategic operations leader with a passion for developing people, improving performance, and delivering exceptional customer service? As a Regional Operations Manager at TCI, you'll oversee multiple transportation operations, lead high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence across your assigned region. You'll play a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, improving profitability, and building a culture centered around Dedication, Positiveness, Innovation, Ethics, and Accountability.
✅ What You'll Be Doing
Lead and develop Driver Managers, Dispatchers, Administrative teams, Drivers, and Dock personnel across multiple terminals.
Own the operational and financial performance (P&L) of your assigned region.
Drive key performance indicators including on-time delivery, scanning efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational productivity.
Build strong partnerships with customers through regular business reviews, dealership visits, and performance discussions.
Identify operational challenges, develop action plans, and improve underperforming locations.
Partner with Safety, Maintenance, HR, Recruiting, and Payroll to ensure operational excellence.
Reduce operating costs through effective labor management, fuel optimization, and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, company safety policies, and maintenance standards.
Coach and mentor leadership teams through EOS L10 meetings, quarterly Rocks, and continuous development.
Promote effective utilization of McLeod, Samsara, Tenstreet, customer portals, and other operational technologies.
Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top talent that aligns with TCI's Core Values.
Travel throughout your assigned region (up to 50%) to support operations and customers.
📋 What You Bring
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
Proven experience managing multiple locations, departments, or operational teams.
Strong financial acumen with P&L management and budget oversight experience.
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation safety regulations.
Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance through data-driven decision making.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Strong customer relationship management and communication abilities.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and transportation management systems.
Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel up to 50% and respond to operational needs outside of normal business hours when necessary.
