Great dispatching takes more than assigning a route. It takes clear communication, careful planning, and the ability to keep things moving when plans change.
TCI Transportation is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations. You’ll work closely with drivers, customers, maintenance teams, and your Transportation/Driver Manager to keep trips covered, schedules organized, and service running smoothly.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
🚚 Coordinate Daily Dispatch
Assign trips, adjust driver assignments, and review routes and schedules to support safe, efficient operations.
👥 Support Our Drivers
Help train drivers on company policies, coordinate driver meetings, monitor performance, and partner with Recruiting on staffing needs and driver orientations.
⚙️ Keep Equipment Ready
Work with Rental and Maintenance to secure equipment and coordinate services and repairs.
📋 Keep Operations Organized
Complete operational paperwork, serve as a local terminal contact, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility. Keep safety, cost control, and customer service at the center of daily decisions.
🤝 Deliver Dependable Customer Service
Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams, respond to operational needs, and help TCI meet or exceed customer performance expectations.
🛡️ Support Safety & Compliance
Confirm drivers have sufficient available hours for assigned work, assist with electronic log audits, report discrepancies, and work with your manager, Safety, and HR to maintain Hours of Service compliance.
📦 Pitch In Beyond Dispatch
This is a hands-on role that includes loading and unloading assigned trucks—not just desk-based dispatch work.

📅 Schedule & Work Expectations
Your regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85043.
Occasional night, weekend, or holiday work may be needed. The position may also require local or out-of-state travel to support operations.
