🚛 Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the position of Rental Agent. This position will be 5% outdoors and 95% indoors.
We are looking for confident individuals with a customer service orientation, strong interpersonal and telephone skills, and a desire for growth. This role provides front-line contact with customers, matches vehicle demand with availability, and ensures complete customer satisfaction.
📋 Rental Agent Job Responsibilities
Customer interaction through in-person visits, email, phone, and other communication channels.
Go on sales calls and meet potential clients.
Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; report any issues found.
Fleet management and inventory.
Billing.
Open and close rental agreements.
Daily rental check-in and check-out.
Generate reports.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
Conduct fuel island inspections.
Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Work with the Sales team within the company.
✅ Job Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation rental and leasing required.
Strong data entry skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Microsoft Excel experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to get in and out of commercial trucks.
Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.

$22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
